Galoran: (to a friend) What? My parents are dead? Well... that's sad... But life goes on! Come on! Let's go to the tavern and drink!

Friend: (to Galoran) Don't you feel any grief? Don't you think you should honor their memory?

Galoran: (to friend) Bah! They were old and boring anyway! They never understood me or my lifestyle!

Narrator: Because his life was so extravagant, all the treasure that he had was running out and he became an unemployed person.

Galoran: (to himself) What? No more money? How can this be? I need more money!

Narrator: Many people sympathized with him and offered a job.

Person 1: (to Galoran) Hey Galoran! I heard you are in trouble. Why don't you work for me at my farm? It's hard work but honest.

Person 2: (to Galoran) Or you can join me at my shop. I need someone to help me sell goods.

Person 3: (to Galoran) Or you can become a soldier for the king. You have some skills with weapons.

Galoran: (to person 1/2/3) Work? Me? No way! That's beneath me! I'm not going to soil my hands with such lowly tasks!

Narrator: But every time he got the job, he just dallied and it made him always be fired.

Boss 1/2/3: (to Galoran) You're fired! You're lazy! You're incompetent! You're dishonest!

Galoran: (to boss 1/2/3) Fine! I don't need your job anyway! You're all fools who don't appreciate my talents!

Narrator: Several months later, there was a wealthy widow who interested him. He married the widow and of course, he was very happy to be living in luxury again.

Widow: (to Galoran) Oh Galoran! You're so handsome! So charming! So generous!

Galoran: (to widow) Oh Widow! You're so rich! So kind! So gullible!
